Enjoying the pomp and circumstance of the hottest horse race of the year, Jordin Sparks was spotted at The Kentucky Derby in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday (May 7).

The “American Idol” babe looked lovely in a snazzy hat along with a beige jacket, striped top, dark trousers and nude heels.

Animal Kingdom Wins 137th Annual Kentucky Derby

Boasting one of the most wide-open fields in recent memory, the 137th annual Kentucky Derby took place at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday evening (May 7).

With the event being opened up by Jordin Sparks singing the National Anthem, a fashionably fabulous packed crowd then joined in on the traditional singing of "My Old Kentucky Home".

Kate Gosselin's Kentucky Derby Weekend

Immersing herself in the happenings taking place around the Churchill Downs venue, Kate Gosselin made her way to Louisville, Kentucky for the 2011 Kentucky Derby.

The TLC reality star kicked off her Friday (May 6) with a visit to the Style Icon 2011 Luxury Gifting Suite at the Galt House Hotel & Suites Grand Ballroom - where she proceeded to try on an array of fabulous hats before deciding on a lucky winner to top her noggin on race day.
