Stepping out to check out her latest big screen work, Kelly Ripa was on hand for a special screening of "Fly Me to the Moon" at The Regal Union Square in NYC on Thursday (July 31).
The 37-year-old talk show host/Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress has a voice role of Nat's mother (Nat is played by Trevor Gagnon) in the animated film, which proclaims itself to be the "First ever animated movie created for 3D."
Last night marked the 10th annual Angel Ball, put on by Denise Rich and friends to raise money for the G&P Foundation for Cancer Research.
According to Fox news, "She (Denise) stuffed 1,400 people into the Marriott Marquis ballroom, mingling her performers with big A-list names such as Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Natalie Cole, Joss Stone and John Legend with Kelly Ripa, Joan Collins, Clive Davis, Bar Refaeli, Petra Nemcova, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Chace Crawford... and so on."
Regis Philbin announced that he'll be returning to his syndicated daytime talk show on April 26th, roughly six weeks after having triple heart bypass surgery. The always comedic "Live With Regis and Kelly" host called into the show on Monday to give an update on his recovery.
During the phone call, Regis said that he'd been "through the wars" in his recovery, but was building up strength by walking and lifting light weights.
