They’ve been an item for the past year and a half, but now Kellan Lutz and Sharni Vinson have decided to go their separate ways.

The “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2” hunk and his Australian actress gal broke up earlier this month, according to a source close to the couple.

He’s always up for a challenge, and Kellan Lutz just signed on for the lead role in Renny Harlin’s forthcoming flick “Hercules 3D.”

The “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2” hunk will be hitting the weights big time to prepare for the tough character, but Harlin told press he was more drawn to Kellan’s non-muscular qualities.

Picking up a snack for a weekday afternoon, Kellan Lutz and Sharni Vinson headed back to their car in Los Angeles on Thursday (January 31).

The "Twilight" hunk wore a red plaid jacket, blue jeans, and a gray cap while his Aussie model girlfriend donned a black leather jacket, black and white striped pants, and black ankle boots as they carried on a conversation.
