Katy Perry to Headline Concert for Breast Cancer Fight
Teaming up with some fellow singers for a good cause, Katy Perry will headline a one night only concert at the Hollywood Bowl in October.
“Citi Presents Katy Perry’s We Can Survive” will take place on October 23 and will benefit Young Survival Coalition, an organization that helps breast cancer patients.
Also joining the 28-year-old for the big night are Tegan & Sara, Ellie Goulding, and Kacey Musgraves, among others.
Slated to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness month, Katy told reporters of the event, “I’m so proud to be playing songs from my new record, PRISM, at the iconic Hollywood Bowl alongside a hand-picked group of my favorite female artists. It will be a night of celebrating fantastic music and life, all for a very important cause!”
