John Mayer & Katy Perry: Presidential Inauguration Lovers

Taking full advantage of their superstar status, John Mayer and Katy Perry scored tickets to the Presidential Inauguration in Washington DC this morning (January 21).

The “No Such Thing” crooner and his “I Kissed a Girl” girlfriend looked to be enjoying themselves as they watched President Barack Obama get sworn in for his second term in the Oval Office.

And it sounds like Katy was paying close attention to Obama’s first Inauguration in 2009, when Aretha Franklin wore a massive grey bow.

Perry copied the “Respect” singer’s style with a miniature version of the garment on her trendy fedora. “I had it made. I thought it would be fun to do a shout-out back to four years ago,” she explained.
