Kate Winslet Gets Back to Work on "Mildred Pierce"
Doing her best to move past her divorce woes, Kate Winslet was back in work mode in New York City on Sunday (April 18).
Dressed up in costume, the Oscar winning actress busily shot scenes for her brand new HBO project titled "Mildred Pierce".
The series is about " a divorced single mom named Mildred Pierce, who decides to open a restaurant business during the depression, which threatens to damage her already-strained relationship with her ambitious eldest daughter, Veda."
"Mildred Pierce" is the first work gig that Kate has taken part in since announcing the end of her seven-year marriage to Sam Mendes last month.
