Kate Hudson and Kirsten Dunst Show Their Shorts
Last night was all about the short movie, as Kate Hudson and Kirsten Dunst showed off their directorial skills at last night's Glamour's Reel Moments premiere in Hollywood.
As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, Hudson's "Cutlass" enjoyed a stellar cast including Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning, Virginia Madsen and Chevy Chase.
The short is "about a girl (Fanning) who really wants a vintage guitar. It reminds her mom (Madsen) how much she wanted a car as a teen and begged her dad (Russell) to buy it."
Meanwhile, Dunst's "Welcome" saw Winona Ryder play the lead in her "modern-day ghost flick."
According to Glamour publisher Bill Wackermann, "Hudson connected with her film 'because it's very upbeat and cool,' and Dunst 'loved the concept of doing a ghost story.'"
