Kate Gosselin's Teen Twins Clam Up on the "TODAY" Show: Watch Here!
Perhaps those turbulent teen years aren't the best time to put your kids on live TV early in the morning to talk about your parenting skills.
That lesson was learned the hard way by Kate Gosselin on Thursday's "Today" show (January 16).
With her 13-year-old twins flanking her, the former reality star appeared in an interview with Savannah Guthrie.
First, the friendly host asked, "Mady, what would you want to say about how you and your sister and your family are doing?"
As her daughter halted after a quick "um...," Kate urged, "Mady, your words. It's your chance. Spit it out," to which the teen responded with a bit of side-eye.
Later, Cara was asked and the mother-of-eight stated, "So this is their chance to talk and this is the most wordless I've heard them all morning. I don't want to speak for them, but Mady go ahead . . that years later they're good, they're fine . . Go for it, Mady." Annoyed, the twin responded, "No, you just said it."
