Justin Timberlake Talks Onion Ring Ticket Triumph on "The Tonight Show"
Out building hype ahead of the September 21st release of his new Clint Eastwood directed film "Trouble with the Curve," Justin Timberlake took center stage at NBC's Burbank, California studios on Tuesday night (September 18).
The “Sexy Back” singer looked dapper in a grey suit jacket, tan pants and a plaid button-up as he appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" alongside fellow guest, NBA All-Star Steve Nash.
As for Justin's sitdown with Leno, the 31-year-old Memphis native opened up about life at home with fiancé Jessica Biel and while also dishing on how onion rings might have gotten him out of a speeding ticket.
Going into detail about his latest run in with the law (which took place in the state of Florida), Justin explained that he had just gotten finished eating a “bevvy” of onion rings from Burger King when he was pulled over for being a bit too heavy on the peddle.
Due to an apparent large amount of “day drinking” in the Sunshine state, the officer asked Timberlake to blow in his face as part of a DUI test - which Justin wasn’t so keen on doing.
Reenacting the sticky moment, JT said, “'Sir, I know this sounds crazy but you really don’t want me to do that.’"
With the copper not heeding the warning, a clearly amused Justin (who ended up getting out of the ticket) added, "And he insisted so he got a face full of onion ring stank.”
