Julia Louis-Dreyfus Gets Misspelled Hollywood Star... Almost
Spending the day as the center of attention, Julia Louis-Dreyfus was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Hollywood on Tuesday (May 4).
Held in front of the W Hotel, the Elaine Benes actress was all smiles at the midday event during which she was joined by "Seinfeld" pals including Jason Alexander and Larry David.
Making for quite the hectic pre-ceremony situation, the LA Chamber of Commerce misspelled Julia's name on the star - having to scramble to fix it before the stars and media showed up.
According to reports, the engravers omitted the hyphen and the "o" in Louis, as the star read: "Julia Luis Dreyfus".
Upon hearing the news of the misspelling, Julia thought it was "hilarious" and asked for it to be left the way it was to no avail - though she was sent the removed piece of concrete holding the misspelled "Luis" piece.
