Joseph Gordon-Levitt Visits the "Late Show with David Letterman"
Looking quite dapper in a well-fitted suit, Joseph Gordon-Levitt arrived on the set of the "Late Show with David Letterman" for a taping on Monday (September 17).
The 31-year-old actor opted for a skinny red tie to go with his stylish suit, matching the red lining inside his jacket.
After hearing the host talk about diplomatic immunity in the monologue, the "Dark Knight Rises" actor recounted a diplomatic run-in of his own. The incident occurred while filming "Premium Rush," an action thriller about a bike messenger.
Dave displayed a photo, which Joseph described by telling, "That is the rear window of a taxicab I flew through by accident. We had the street blocked off with cops and cones and everything, and the diplomat just broke through our lockup and double parked right in the middle of where we were headed. Long story short, I went through the rear windshield of a taxicab and luckily got my arms up and shattered the thing and got 31 stitches on my arm."
As the audience audibly cringed at the bloody display, the affable actor pointed to his face in the photo, asking, "Can you see me smiling?" Watch the clip below.
