Jessica Simpson to Star in NBC Comedy
She took over the big screen in “The Dukes of Hazzard” and now Jessica Simpson is vying for a spot in NBC’s comedy line-up.
The network reportedly ordered a comedy pilot that not only stars the 32-year-old singer, it’s also inspired by her life.
“I often find myself thinking that no one could ever make up the things that actually happen in my life- so between the real life elements and a great team of writers, I think we’ll have people laughing!,” Jessica said.
The project develops Simpson’s relationship with NBC and Elecus, who currently work collectively on her reality series “Fashion Star.”
