Jessica Alba Talks Monkey Business
It’s finally here. We’ve been talking and talking about Jessica Alba’s new movie Good Luck Chuck all summer. And last Friday America got the chance to see the poorly reviewed collaboration between the Dark Angel actress and comedian Dane Cook.
According to the Sin City starlet, her aspiration to try comedy was realized during an MTV Awards show skit. “I’ve always wanted to do comedy. That’s pretty much why I got into the business. I love making people laugh and entertaining.”
But with limited roles such as Dark Angel and Fantastic Four, her comedic tendencies weren’t showcased. “ I really haven’t had a shot at doing it and I was asked to host the MTV Movie Awards and I knew if I was gonna do that show, I would be able to do skits with great comedians.”
When Alba appeared on the show with King Kong, apparently Dane Cook took notice, and asked her to work with him on Chuck. “That’s the one that Dane, after he saw that he realized I could do physical comedy and he wanted me to be in this movie.”
