Jennifer Lopez Returns to Judge "American Idol" in Boston
Returning to work after her spot on judges' table was confirmed, Jennifer Lopez headed to "American Idol" auditions in Boston, Massachusetts on Wednesday (September 4).
Ready for Day 2 in Beantown, J-Lo arrived in a short-sleeved black dress with her hair pulled up in a tiny bun as she joined her colleagues Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr.
Speaking about the 44-year-old star's position on the panel along with the others, chairman of entertainment for Fox Broadcasting, Kevin Reilly, gushed, "Jennifer Lopez, the triple-threat global superstar who loves 'Idol' and whom 'Idol' fans love; Harry Connick, Jr., a bona-fide musical genius and fantastic 'Idol' mentor whose honesty and expertise can help turn these hopefuls into stars; Keith Urban, a multi-Grammy-winning artist who was such a positive force on the show last season. We are also very excited to have our friend Randy Jackson now in a new role as mentor, and the captain of our team -- the heart and soul of Idol -- Ryan Seacrest returning as host."
Season 13 will be Jennifer's third round of judging, having taken Season 12 off. "American Idol" debuts in January 2014 on Fox, but nationwide auditions are already well underway.
