Jennifer Hudson's 'Smashing' Day on Set
Getting to work on her newest project, Jennifer Hudson was spotted on the set of "Smash" in New York City on Monday (August 20).
The Grammy award-winning songstress donned a lengthy, purple top matched with black leggings before later slipping into a comfortable cardigan while showing her son, David Otunga Jr., around the location.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the 30 year-old "American Idol" contestant is set to perform in a multi-arc episode of the NBC show. She will play the role of Veronica Moore, a Broadway star.
Miss Hudson recently opened up about the news stating, "It's just the perfect opportunity, it's gonna be challenging, and I'm a little bit intimidated to play this big Broadway star. But it's gonna be a great experience. I can't wait to get started."
"Smash" is set to premiere early next year.
