Jay Leno Lands in the Hospital
He’s a staple of American late night television, but yesterday (April 23) Jay Leno had to forgo his hosting duties due to some health issues that landed him in the hospital.
According to a report, the “Tonight Show” stud canceled the taping of his show and checked into Providence Saint Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank.
An inside source told press, “He was just not feeling well. Somebody from the show drove him over to the hospital.” And once he arrived, Jay instantly began entertaining the hospital staff.
Tracy St. Pierre, a rep from NBC stated, "Jay Leno is doing just fine. He was kidding around with the hospital staff and running his monologue jokes by the doctors and the nurses. He's expected back to work on Monday."
