Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have been working on the movie "Rendition," a CIA thriller set to release on November 30th. Why are we telling you this now?

It is being inferred by TMZ and the Daily News, to name a few, that the two co-stars seemingly have grown quite close during their time spent together.

Witherspoon's marriage with actor Ryan Phillipe ended this past October, right around the time that "Rendition" began filming. A few weeks into filming, photos from the set depict Witherspoon laughing and joking with Gyllenhaal. The on-the-set fun shared by the duo has apparently grown into an off-the-set relationship. Now on break from the movie, reports that the two have been continuing to spend much of their time together keep emerging.

Most Recently, Reese visited Jake at an apartment in the Village on March 1st, and he reciprocated at her hotel the next night, reports OK! mag.

And in case you are more interested in the movie than the gossip, imdb provides the following synopsis of "Rendition":

When Egyptian born chemical engineer, Anwar El-Ibrahim (Omar Metwalley) disappears on a flight from South Africa to Washington DC, his American wife, Isabella (Reese Witherspoon) travels to Washington to try and learn the reason for his disappearance. Meanwhile, at a secret detention facility somewhere outside the US, CIA analyst Douglas Freeman (Jake Gyllenhaal) is forced to question his assignment as he becomes a party to the unorthodox interrogation of El-Ibrahim.
