First Look: James Franco Films Scenes for “Homefront”

Getting to work on his latest project, James Franco was spotted on the set of “Homefront” in New Orleans, LA on Tuesday (October 16).

During a break, the 34-year-old actor texted away on his cell while flipping through David Markson's “The Last Novel.”’

In the film, the “Spring Breakers” star plays the role of Gator. The character is a local drug lord in a small town who comes head to head with a DEA agent.

The Gary Felder-directed flick also stars Jason Statham, Winona Ryder, Frank Gillo, Kate Bosworth and Rachelle Lefevre.
