Showing off his vocal prowess, Penn Badgley sings sweetly in the new trailer for his upcoming film “Greetings from Tim Buckley.”

The “Gossip Girl” hunk definitely looks the part of a young Jeff Buckley, joined on the cast by Imogen Poots and Ben Rosenfeld.

Bravely taking on the role of beloved indie singer Jeff Buckley, Penn Badgley does his best to embody the troubled songwriter in the trailer for "Greetings from Tim Buckley."

In the film, one of two Jeff Buckley biopics in the works, the "Gossip Girl" actor plays the young singer in his early life, before he was famous.
