George Clooney & Sandra Bullock: USC Shoah Foundation Fun
The “Ocean’s Thirteen” hunk and his “Miss Congeniality” pal were joined by director Steven Spielberg for the USC Shoah Foundation Institute 2013 Ambassadors for Humanity Gala.
George flashed his charming smile and looked dapper in a black suit/black tie/white shirt combo, while Sandra provided plenty of eye candy in her strapless black dress.
Of her experience working with good friend Clooney on the just-released “Gravity,” Bullock noted that the collaboration almost happened back in the late 1990s as well.
"When you know each other, you don't think, ‘Oh we have gotta work together.’ Years ago I had a meeting with them for Out of Sight. They didn't want me for the film and I was like, ‘Oh, our friendship is so over.' It obviously wasn't over. But that's the only time [we came close to being colleagues]. I wasn't cast in a great movie, but now I get to work with him in another great movie."
As for how George has changed since then, Sandra gushed, "His suits are better, his hair is better. He hasn't' changed at all. He's still a child at heart in terms of his desire to explore and create and fearlessly do it…he doesn't think about consequences, in the best way. He loves what he does, and he's grateful for it because he worked so hard to get to where he is right now."
