Jane Lynch on the "Glee" Cory Monteith Tribute: "It Was a Really Beautiful Episode"
While fans prep for a big two-part Beatles tribute, the cast of "Glee" has just filmed the goodbye episode for Cory Monteith's character, Finn Hudson.
Speaking about the episode, Jane Lynch told PEOPLE, "It was hard, and it was beautifully written. We grieved together, and it was so important for the crew to grieve as well, so we kind of all grieved as a big family."
Airing on October 10th, the 53-year-old actress assures fans, "It was really hard to do, but it was a really beautiful episode."
As for what it will entail, Ryan Murphy tells Deadline.com, "At one point, we were going to have his character die after an accidental drug overdose. But we have decided that we're not going to have him pass from that. Basically, what we're doing in the episode is we are not telling you yet, or maybe not at all, how that character died."
Meanwhile the cast is on a two-week hiatus as the writers decide how to move the show along after Finn's death.
