Hollywood is still reeling from the tragic death of Paul Walker over the weekend, and now the producers of “Fast & Furious 7” are scrambling to figure out how to finish the movie.

Since the flick is only halfway done, it’s likely the July 2014 release date will get pushed back to accommodate for plot adaptations in Walker’s absence.

A New York Times source shared, "To finish Fast & Furious 7 in time for a planned July 11 release, the company has been operating under an aggressive, little-room-for-delays production schedule. Filming is still only half finished, unusual for a movie of this size so close to release, and Mr. Walker played a leading role."

Additionally, Paul previously filmed a PSA for the movie, urging viewers to drive carefully- "All the driving sequences you see in the film are done by experienced professionals on closed courses. Be safe. Drive smart. Stay legal."
