Eva Longoria Shines During DNC Speech
Eva Longoria made an appearance at the DNC in Charlotte, SC yesterday (September 6) to voice her support for President Barack Obama.
The 37-year-old actress was seen wearing a blue dress, with her hair down, as she spoke of growing up in Texas.
The star of Desperate Housewives spoke of the struggles her family had growing up, and how she would have to work fast food and automotive services jobs to allow her family to make ends meet and to pay back loans. She said, "in my family, there was one cardinal priority: education."
Ms. Longoria, co-chair of President Obama's re-election committee, went on to say, "Mitt Romney would raise taxes on middle-class families to cut his own and mine. And that’s not who we are as a nation. And I’ll tell you why, because the Eva Longoria who worked at Wendy’s flipping burgers, she needed a tax break. But the Eva Longoria who worked on movie sets does not.”
