Box Office: "Ender's Game" Takes First Place
For the second week in a row, there is a new movie in the top spot at the box office for the weekend of November 1-3, 2013.
Newcomer "Ender's Game," which stars Harrison Ford and Hailee Steinfeld won the weekend with a $9.8 million Friday and a three day total of $26.7 million.
Landing in second spot was last week's number one, "Bad Grandpa," which nabbed $6 million on Friday and finished with $20.8 million for the weekend.
Rounding out the top five in earmarked earnings were the Morgan Freeman fronted comedy "Last Vegas" ($16.3 million) in third, the new animated comedy "Free Birds" ($16 million) in fourth, and the George Clooney and Sandra Bullock sci-fi adventure "Gravity" ($13.1 million) in fifth.
