Emily Maynard: Confirmed as New Bachelorette

Her first shot at reality show romance didn’t quite pan out, and now Emily Maynard is giving it another try.

The former “Bachelor” babe has been officially confirmed as the star of the upcoming season of “The Bachelorette.”

Maynard had previously endured a messy breakup with Bachelor Brad Womack last summer, with a pal telling press, “She’s looking for a man- not a little boy.”

Emily lives in Charlotte, North Carolina along with her adorable six-year-old daughter Ricki, her child from her relationship with the late NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick.
