Enjoying each other’s company, Adam Lambert appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and spoke of his much-talked-about performance on the American Music Awards.

Sounding as if he had a bit of remorse in his voice, the American Idol runner up said, "I forgot that this was the first time people were seeing me on TV again after Idol…I think in hindsight, I look back on it and I go, 'Okay, maybe that wasn't the best first impression to make again or the first second impression.'"

They married a little over a year ago, and it sounds like things between Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are better than ever.

The comedian, talk show host (who finally made it on the cover of “O” magazine!) gushed to Oprah for the December issue telling that de Rossi is “so beautiful and so smart and so funny.”

Taking over the hosting duties of the VH1 Divas Live concert last night (September 17), Paula Abdul poked a little fun at her “American Idol” replacement Ellen DeGeneres.

During a segment on the show, Abdul sported a blonde wig along with a dark suit and sneakers (in Ellen’s typical fashion) and joked, “Why are you all staring at me? Can’t a girl try out for a new job?”
