Elisabeth Hasselbeck Firing Rumors: Not True!
Last week a flurry of reports began surfacing regarding the rumored departure of Elisabeth Hasselbeck from the popular daytime talk show “The View.”
And this morning (March 11) honcho Barbara Walters immediately took issue with the claims that Hasselbeck got canned, noting that she wanted to address “a particularly false story.”
Walters declared, “We love Elisabeth,” while also noting that everyone appreciates the diversity of political opinions represented on the panel.
Furthermore, Barbara mentioned that whatever her co-hosts desire for their careers, she’s behind them. "We have no plans for Elisabeth to leave this show. Elisabeth helps gives the show perspective and balance.”
