After five other films, it's a wonder the sixth hasn't lost any steam as "Fast & Furious 6" raced its way to worldwide box office success.
Universal Pictures announced on Thursday (June 6) that the sequel became the fastest movie to hit $500 million at the worldwide box office in studio history.

Although he had to miss the Los Angeles premiere of his new action flick "Pain & Gain" on Monday (April 22), that didn't stop Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson from having some fun during his hospital stay.
Just hours before the premiere, Mr. Johnson had an emergency surgery for hernial tears he sustained from his WWE match against fellow wrestler John Cena during WrestleMania earlier this month.

Kicking off the holiday weekend with a bang, the stars of “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” showed up at the big Hollywood premiere last night (March 28).
Bruce Willis brought his lovely wife Emma Heming along with daughter Rumer Willis for the big shindig at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Tinseltown.
Pulling in respectable numbers for a Wednesday, "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" earned $2.2 million for its nighttime release.
Predictions put the action sequel in the $40-$45 million four day domestic debut range with hopeful Paramount studio believing it could hit $50 million.
In anticipation of its release later this month, Paramount Pictures released two new TV spots for "G.I. Joe: Retaliation."
The sequel to the 2009 action flick follows the Joes, who are not only fighting their usual enemy, Cobra, but also threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.
