Drake to Rolling Stone: I Didn’t Diss Kanye & "Disgusted" After Losing Cover to Philip Seymour Hoffman

He’s never one to keep his opinion to himself, but Drake insists the rumor that he slammed Kanye West's YEEZUS album in his Rolling Stone interview is completely false.

The Canadian rapper took to his Twitter account to set the record straight- “I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone.”

A scan of the article seems to indicate that Drake dissed West with quotes like, “There were some real questionable bars on [Yeezus]. Like that ‘Swaghili‘ line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some sh*t like that.”

Furthermore, he complained that Rolling Stone “also took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue. I’m disgusted with that. RIP to Philip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil.”

“I’m done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That’s the only way my message gets across accurately.”
