It’s been well over a year since she completed her rehab program, and Demi Lovato hasn’t forgotten the lessons she learned as a result of her crazy ways.

The “Skyscraper” songstress is featured on the cover of Company magazine’s June 2013 issue, noting that she lost most of her friends during her time away.

Stoked to introduce her new music to the world, Demi Lovato chatted about her album on "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" on Thursday (April 11).

The "X Factor" judge told the friendly hosts, "With the album I have a ton of upbeat songs, that are just like 'Heart Attack.' Super catchy, they get stuck in your head, which is always a good thing. But I also have some pretty emotional songs opening up about things that I haven't really ever talked about. It's a big deal for me."

Giving her fans some visuals to go along with her new single, Demi Lovato debuted the music video for "Heart Attack" on Tuesday (April 9).

In the Chris Applebaum-directed video, the "Skyscraper" singer sings to the camera in black and white outfits, sometimes accompanied by her band, before getting messy in some black paint.
