Wednesday (March 13) is another day for the history books as white smoke emerged from the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City to indicate a new Pope has been elected.

Earlier in the day, 76-year-old Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who will now be known as Pope Francis I, was announced as the 266th pope of the Roman Catholic Church.

It’s a whole new game over at “Jimmy Kimmel Live” thanks to his earlier time slot, and Kimmel brought back his uber-popular “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” segment to see just how cruel fans can be on Twitter.

And this time around, the micro-blogging tidbits were extra harsh, though the famous folks reading them didn’t seem to mind.

Gearing up for its October 5th release, “Frankenweenie” premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood last night (September 24).

And there was no shortage of famous faces at the event, as Winona Ryder showed up looking fine in a The Way We Wore vintage dress with Sergio Rossi heels and a Ferragamo clutch.
