Danny McBride Armors Up for GQ
He’s been busy doing promotion for his new movie “Your Highness,” set to hit theaters this Friday (April 8th) and Danny McBride is featured in the new issue of GQ magazine.
The “Pineapple Express” actor looks hilarious in a suit of armor as he comically wields a sword and pours out a 40 oz bottle of malt liquor.
Of the new flick, Danny told press, “We love Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and how they approached not having the budget of a big movie.”
“But David’s [director David Gordon Green] whole idea [for Your Highness] was that the joke would be that it’s not low-budget. We wanted to make it look as much like Harry Potter or Clash of the Titans as we possibly could.”
