Dakota Johnson in Vanity Fair March 2014: Prepping For "Fifty Shades of Grey" Was Boring
She's taking on the role as Anastasia Steele in the highly anticipated film "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie adaptation, but even Dakota Johnson can admit she's experienced some boring moments on the set.
"[I did] a lot of getting into the character's head - Ana's headspace - kind of before she meets Christian," Miss Johnson explained. "So it's kind of reading, which I love. But she's an English major, so that's kind of boring."
Despite the before work being dull, Dakota stated she loves being on set with Jamie and director Sam Taylor-Johnson. "It's been a very smooth, fun and creative experience. I think going into something like this you kind of have all these different fears of what it could be like and none of those things are happening."
"We all get a long really well, the crew is amazing and we're just trying to make this project the best that it can be," she added
