Dakota & Elle Fanning: Fashionable Sneaker Sisters

Spotted out sporting their comfy footwear, Dakota Fanning and her sister Elle Fanning both spent the day in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday (May 12).

The "War of the Worlds" actress rocked her sneakers paired with yoga pants, a black and grey striped top and a fedora while hiking with friend the and even stopped by a lemonade stand to purchase a refreshing drink from a two young neighborhood girls.

Her little sis also chose the casual apparel option rocking her Marc Jacobs wedge sneakers with jeans and a classic white tee as she was spotted leaving a friend's house with music notes in hand.

In career news, the 13-year-old star has accepted a role in the new Robert Stromberg directed film, "Maleficent." The Sleeping Beauty tale is told from the perspective of the princess' evil nemesis, Maleficent and Fanning is set to star as Princess Aurora.

Angelina Jolie is also set to star in the new fantasy which isn't planned to hit theaters until 2014.
