Bringing an end to his relationship with NBC, soon-to-be-former “Tonight Show” host Conan O’Brien has signed a $44 million deal to call it quits.

On last night’s program, the red-headed funnyman quipped, "I thought about something today. Over the years I've made a lot of fun of Ryan Seacrest, Larry King, Spencer Pratt, Geraldo, David Hasselhoff, Kirstie Alley and Donald Trump. And here's the messed up thing—they all still have shows."

It’s no secret that things between Conan O’Brien and the NBC network have been strained as of late, and it looks like they’ll part ways tomorrow (January 22).

Conan O’Brien: $32.5 Million Payoff

After much controversy, Conan O’Brien will reportedly be signing a $32.5 million deal to leave “The Tonight Show” that was between the host and NBC.

The agreement may be ready by Tuesday and would enclose that O’Brien not bad mouth his former bosses at NBC yet allow him to take another job within a year.

Jay Leno Explains Late Night Debacle

It has been fun watching Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien handle the schedule change with NBC’s late night lineup and finally Leno laid it all out in a matter-of-fact fashion last night.

During his primetime program, the former-and-soon-to-be “Tonight Show” host explained, "I think you know this town, you can do almost anything. You get ratings, they keep you. I wasn't getting the ratings, he wasn't getting 'em, that was NBC's solution."
