Brad Paisley: CMA Entertainer of the Year
He played co-host with Carrie Underwood at tonight’s 44th Annual CMA Awards, and Brad Paisley also ended up with the biggest award of the evening.
The “American Saturday Night” singer was named as the 2010 Entertainer of the Year, and got a bit choked up during his acceptance speech.
Paisley gushed, “There’s a old saying… if you see a turtle on a fencepost, it probably had some help getting there,” adding that he owed his success to those who believed in and supported him over the years.
Brad was also on the long list of the night’s performers, including Kid Rock, Carrie Underwood, Gwyneth Paltrow, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, and Blake Shelton.
