Chris Brown Slapped With Assault Lawsuit
Last October, Chris Brown and his bodyguard were allegedly involved in an altercation with Parker Isaac Adams during an appearance outside a Washington DC hotel, and now Mr. Adams is looking for a payday.
The “Don’t Wake Me Up” crooner was named in a lawsuit this week as legal documents were filed with a Washington DC Superior Court.
Per the new civil suit, Brown has been charged with assault and a trial date has been set for April 17th, though he pleaded not guilty to the same charges when the incident initially occurred.
If found guilty, Chris could face a maximum of six months behind bars and a $1,000 fine, though he has a tendency for eluding any serious penalties.
