Bad news continues to surface for Chad Ochocinco after his Sunday (August 12) arrest for domestic violence.
According to a rep from VH1, the 34-year-old athlete's soon-to-premiere reality show featuring himself and his new wife, Evelyn Lozada, has been cancelled. The spokesperson told Gossip Cop, "Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev & Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.”
As more details surrounding Chad Ochocinco's domestic violence dispute begin to surface, the NFL football star is not only finding himself facing misdemeanor charges - but an end to his career, as well.
The Miami Dolphins reportedly cut the 34-year-old wide receiver from the team just hours after he was released from jail on Sunday morning (August 12) on a $2,500 bond.
Recently married Chad Ochocinco (now known as Chad Johnson) was arrested in Davie, FL on Saturday evening (August 11) for a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
According to Police Cpt. Dale Engle who spoke with NFL Network, the Miami Dolphins wide receiver allegedly head butted his newlywed wife and "Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada during an argument on the way home from dinner. The alleged argument left Evelyn with a "pretty good sized" laceration.
