Sweden's Princess Madeleine Marries her American Sweetheart
In a lavish ceremony in her home country, Swedish Princess Madeleine married New York banker Christopher O'Neill.
The youngest daughter of Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia found her prince in the Big Apple, where he works as a partner and head of research at Noster Capital.
In the traditional ceremony, the wedding march was sung by a children's choir as the bride strolled down the aisle in a Valentino Garavani white gown.
Packed with about 470 guests, attendees included U.K.'s Earl and Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward and Sophie;, Duran Duran band member John Taylor; the CEO of fashion retailer H&M, Karl-Johan Persson; and Roxette singer Marie Fredriksson, who performed at the event.
