"Shipping Wars" Star Roy Garber Dies at Age 49
Bringing shocking news to the cast and viewers of "Storage Wars," the wheeling and dealing show's star, Roy Garber passed away on Friday (January 17), after suffering a heart attack.
TMZ has reported that the 49-year-old A&E trader was sped to a Texas hospital after his heart attack, but passed away shortly after, due to ongoing bouts he has reportedly had with a heart condition.
Roy's A&E biography called him a "serious jack-of-all-trades," who was also considered an "avid fisherman and master scuba diver," and a representative for the show stated that the cast is "deeply saddened by the loss of a member of the A&E family."
Mr. Garber leaves behind a son, Travis, whom he raised himself for more than 18 years, and a longtime girlfriend.
