Mel Brooks Sings Praises of Late Sid Caesar on “Conan”

He’s seen plenty of stars come and go during his 87 years on the earth and Mel Brooks was especially impressed with Sid Caesar.

During his interview on “ Conan” last night (February 18) the “Blazing Saddles” mastermind paid tribute to his late friend in a heartfelt memorial.

And in the legal document, the “Capote” actor made provision for both his longtime girlfriend Mimi O’Donnell and their son Cooper.

Devo Member Bob Casale Passed Away

Legendary “Whip It” singers Devo lost a member of their crew on Monday (February 17).

Per a Facebook post from the band’s official page, the 80s band announced that Bob Casale died suddenly from heart failure at the age of 61.

Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Alleged Drug Dealer: Linked To Other Celebrity Overdoses

With just two weeks since the terrible death of Philip Seymour Hoffman, it seems the guy he got the heroin from is no stranger to dead stars.

Robert Vineberg is accused of selling the “Along Came Polly” actor the junk that killed him, and he’s also been linked to Amy Winehouse and Jean-Michel Basquiat, both of whom died due to chemical complications.

Ralph Waite of "The Waltons" Passes Away at Age 85

Leaving a rift throughout Hollywood, Ralph Waite patriarch of "The Waltons" passed away in Palm Desert, CA on Thursday (February 13) at age 85.

A classic television star, Waite was the front man on the hit CBS series for nine seasons throughout the 1970's, and also starred in several movies based upon its success.

Television legend Sid Caesar passed away at the age of 91 in Los Angeles on Wednesday (February 12).

The New York native is best known for his roles in “Your Show of Shows” and “Caesar’s House,” which were groundbreaking programs that aired in the 1950s.

Philip Seymour Hoffman Wrote About "Demons" in Personal Journals

As the world continues to mourn his sudden death, Philip Seymour Hoffman left behind clues about his complicated struggle with substance abuse.

While searching his NYC apartment, police found two journals kept by the actor, along with books by Truman Capote, his portrayal of whom he won an Oscar.
