Coroner Confirms Philip Seymour Hoffman's Cause of Death

Though drugs were assumed to be a factor in the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman, fans received confirmation on Friday (February 28) from the New York City coroner.

A spokeswoman for the NYC medical examiner explained that the "Hunger Games" star died from an "acute mixed drug intoxication" of drugs including, heroin, cocaine, amphetamines, and anti-anxiety drugs called benzodiazepines.

“Dating Game” Host Jim Lange Passes Away

As the original host of “The Dating Game” back in the 1960s and 1970s, Lange had the opportunity to rub shoulders with celebrities like Farrah Fawcett, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Steve Martin and Michael Jackson.

Maria Von Trapp Passes Away

Her family inspired the acclaimed film "The Sound of Music," and the last surviving singing child Maria von Trapp died at the age of 99 on Tuesday (February 18).

Her half-brother shared the news with press, revealing Maria passed away in her Vermont home peacefully in her sleep. "Maria had a wonderful life and while we will miss her, the memories of her will live on," Johannes von Trapp told People.
