Dr. Joyce Brothers Passes Away at Age 85

Known world wide for her sage advice, Dr. Joyce Brothers passed away on Monday (May 13) in New York City at the age of eighty five.

The popular psychologist, columnist, and media personality got her start in 1955 when she became the only woman to win the television quiz show "$64,000 Question."

Designer Ottavio Missoni Passes Away at Age 92

"The Young & the Restless'" Jeanne Cooper Passes Away at Age 84

After being treated for an unspecified illness for the past several weeks, soap star Jeanne Cooper passed away on Wednesday (May 8) at the age of 84.

The veteran actress played the role of Katherine Chancellor on "The Young and the Restless" since 1973 and won a Daytime Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 2008.

Jeff Hanneman of Slayer Dies

After spending thirty years rocking out with the band Slayer, guitarist Jeff Hanneman passed away on Thursday (May 2).

According to a statement on the band's Facebook page, "Slayer is devastated to inform that their bandmate and brother, Jeff Hanneman, passed away at about 11AM this morning near his Southern California home. Hanneman was in an area hospital when he suffered liver failure. He is survived by his wife Kathy, his sister Kathy and his brothers Michael and Larry, and will be sorely missed. Our Brother Jeff Hanneman, May He Rest In Peace (1964 – 2013)."

Chris Kelly: Death Likely Caused By Drugs

He passed away yesterday (May 1) unexpectedly, and Chris Kelly was likely using drugs at the time of his demise.

According to a report, the 34-year-old “Jump” rapper had ingested a “speedball” comprised of heroin and cocaine on the evening prior to his death.

Famous for their hit “I Touch Myself,” Chrissy Amphlett and her band Divinyls brought fun tunes to the international airwaves for years. It’s sad to report that the 52-year-old died in her New York City home on Sunday (April 21).

Her husband Charley Drayton released a statement, which read, "Christine Joy Amphlett succumbed to the effects of breast cancer and multiple sclerosis, diseases she vigorously fought with exceptional bravery and dignity.”
