Dennis Farina Passes Away at 69
He was the picture of longevity in Tinseltown and sadly Dennis Farina died earlier today (July 22) in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The “Get Shorty” actor began as a police officer on the Chicago Police Department, though once he got into acting it was clear he was made for the limelight.
Farina scored roles in “Law & Order,” “Snatch,” “Saving Private Ryan,” “Crime Story,” “Luck,” and “Midnight Run,” during his long and successful career.
According to Dennis’ rep, he succumbed to a blood clot in his lung. Farina leaves behind three children and six grandchildren.
