He’s been winning fans over by the masses since he hit the scene earlier this year, and tonight (September 6) Frank Ocean proved he’s the real deal at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.

Standing out among his fellow performers, Ocean sang a stripped-down version of his hit song “Thinking About You” while perched next to a campfire.

Rihanna Rocks New, Short 'Do at the 2012 MTV VMAs

She’s no stranger to high-profile events, and earlier tonight (September 6) Rihanna dazzled her way down the red carpet at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.

The newly short-haired Barbadian beauty was dressed to impress in a sequin embroidered Elie Saab dress as she hammed it up outside the Staples Center venue while gearing up to take the stage and collect a few more MoonMen for her collection.
