Showing off their hilarious new comedy, Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell were on hand for their New York City premiere of “The Campaign” on Wednesday night (July 25).

The funny guys posed for the photographers while making silly faces at the Landmark's Sunshine Cinema in the Big Apple.

Director Jay Roach recently spoke about the film and said, “We’re not a very preachy movie, but we’re definitely going after those kinds of candidates where the race is all about smear-your-opponent-before-he-smears-you and then, if he does smear you, smear-him-back-as-hard-as-you-can."

"There’s no standing on a box and screaming about one political party or the other," adds writer Chris Henchy, "so it’s entirely [about being] aware of the political processes as opposed to the issues."

Zach chimed in saying, “"If you read the script it’s like, 'God, this is a little bit over-the-top.' But then you read the news, and you go, 'God, it’s really not that over-the-top.'”

“The Campaign” arrives in theaters on August 10. Watch the trailer above!
