Bobby Brown "Graduated" From Rehab Facility
Less than three weeks after checking into an undisclosed rehab facility, Bobby Brown was released from the medical center on Wednesday (August 29).
The "Every Little Step" singer's current wife, Alicia Etheridge, confirmed the news by saying Bobby "graduated" from the program and, on behalf of the family, she added, "We are supportive and proud."
Bobby handed himself over for treatment as part of a plea deal which stemmed from an arrest for driving under the influence back in March, however, sources tell RadarOnline that he planned to stay longer to overcome alcohol addiction problems.
"When he first checked in, he promised his family and friends, including his New Edition band mates, that this time he was going to stay in rehab for the full treatment. That's normally a 90-day program," a source close to the family explains. "However, after fulfilling his duties for his DUI plea deal, Bobby has decided that he doesn't need treatment anymore."
Bobby entered the facility six months after his ex, Whitney Houston, was found dead in a bathtub at a Beverly Hills hotel.
