Bill Murray: Head Injury Causes “Get Low” No-Show?
He’s been busy promoting his new movie “Get Low,” but Bill Murray ended up skipping out on the New York City screening of the film this week.
The “Groundhog Day” actor left his co-stars Sissy Spacek and Robert Duvall to fend for themselves at the Cinema Society-sponsored event on Wednesday night (July 21).
The reason for Murray’s absence is thought to be a head injury he sustained while taping a dumpster-diving skit on “The Late Show with David Letterman.”
Following the segment, Murray appeared to have a cut on his head, though neither he nor Letterman made mention of it on the show. Still, it is thought to be the reason Bill was a no-show at the screening.
Below are pictures of Bill Murray filming the injury segment at the Late Show (July 21).
