The 64th Annual Emmy Awards event is fast approaching, and this morning (July 19) Jimmy Kimmel and Kerry Washington announced the complete list of nominees.
Not shockingly, AMC’s “Mad Men” came out on top, with a total of 17 nods, tying FX’s “American Horror Story.”
Coming off a fairly consistent year, the CBS Network has decided to bring back 19 of their current programs and introduce four new series in their newly-announced 2012-2013 schedule.
Looking to spice things up a bit, shows like “Elementary,” “Vegas,” “Made in Jersey,” and “Partners” will add to the already stellar catalog of CBS goodies.
Broadcast and cable television networks waited all year patiently, and the time finally came Thursday morning for the 2009 Emmy Award nominations.
And that wasn’t the only news. A recent changed rule by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences increased the number of nominees in bigger categories so that new faces and series could also share the spotlight with Emmy veterans.
