She’s aging like a fine wine, and Betty White is showing no signs of slowing down.
The former “Golden Girl” - who was recently nominated for the Outstanding Guest Actress in Comedy Emmy for her infamous “Saturday Night Live” skit - has created a calendar for 2011 to help benefit the Morris Animal Foundation.
Dealing with the loss of loved one is never easy, and Betty White has opened up about Rue McClanahan’s passing.
Of her “Golden Girls” co-star, 88-year-old White said in a statement, "Rue was a close and dear friend. I treasure our relationship, It hurts more than I ever thought it would, if that's even possible."
She's gotten back into the limelight in a big way after record ratings during her SNL appearance, but Betty White isn't letting all of the fuss distract her from her main passion - wildlife.
The former "Golden Girls" actress told press, “The thing I like to do best is my work for animals. I’ve worked with LA Zoo and a number of other animal causes for years now, and I never want to give that up."
